i'm awake and feel the ache
So, for those of you who may not go back and read comments that were posted... Awesome day it was yesterday! Couple of hard core hours at the amusement park on the rides and then an incredibly awesome movie. First off let me just say that amusement park rides were not designed with six + foot people in mind. Kinda squishy. But still fun. And it is not bad to go when there are barely any lines at all. We seriously did pretty much all the rides we wanted to in the space of two hours. And then we got to the theatre in perfect time for Live Free or Die Hard. Such an awesome movie! And the ticket taker lady was saying that they are going to be doing two more Die Hard movie in the next few years. Can't wait. Cause if they are even close to being as good as this one was...wow. Now I am just wanting really badly to watch the first three movies that came out long ago. I've seen the first one a couple of times, but it is always worth watching. And the others I have only seen little tiny bits of so just need to sit down and watch them all the way through. Then in the afternoon, after I got home, I finished reading the book that my friend gave me on the 4th. Turned out to be a pretty sweet book. Very easy to read and it definitely kept the energy level up through the entire book. It was written in a kind of journal-ish voice, I guess, and I tend to like books like that. And the main character pretty much just cracked me up most of the time. Dude had a bad case of the sarcastics. I was just sort of hoping that it would take me a little longer to get through so that the new HP book would be out by the time I finished it. Now I have to try to get through a whole other book by then. And it's the first book of a trilogy. Oh well. It sounds like it is a pretty sweet trilogy and I have been looking forward to reading it for a while now. And it's not like it's going to take me a long time to get through HP. Very doubtful that I'll be putting it down longer than it takes me to put in my time at work and get home. So yeah. Yesterday was pretty much a great day. Very nice. Even with the stress filled time after I finished reading the book. I just spent some time writing and got it all out instead of just letting things stew inside all night. And it really helped. Mostly. And then I had a pretty good evening after all that was done. Even managed to get to sleep before midnight and woke up a little earlier than normal this morning. And was in a pretty good mood still. So hopefully I can get that through the day with me and see what happens tomorrow... music: Regina Spektor |

I've never been to Elitch's. I might have to amend that at some point.
Leaper = yay! I need to read the final version already so I can plug it on my blog. I haven't read it since all of Nelson's scenes have been added, and though I've skimmed those and they look hilarious, I still want to reread it. I still just love "I have no pants," though. That's when we all knew this was going to be a great book.
Bartimaeus = even more yay!
Also, HARRY POTTER. *squeals* I'm such a fangirl. It's pathetic.
Yes, Leaper was awesome. And Nelson! I loved Nelson! Somehow I forgot about him by the end of the book. He doesn't show up much there towards the end. Almost like the extra person you plugged into the book you wrote for NAWriMO (or whatever it's called) a couple years ago. Definitely could have used more Nelson. But maybe that's part of why we love him so much, cause we still want more of him...
